FAQ

Questions, answered

How does Ivy work?

You answer a guided set of questions about your income and savings (401(k), IRA, Roth and brokerage accounts, even an inherited IRA), Social Security, pensions and annuities, your home and any rental properties, and how much you plan to spend in retirement, including health care. Couples can plan together. Plan on about 10 minutes if you have your numbers ready. You type in your own numbers: Ivy never links to your bank or investment accounts. Ivy then gives you a Retirement Reality Score from 0 to 100 and plain-language steps to improve your score.

Is Ivy a real financial advisor?

No. Ivy is an AI retirement planning assistant - a calm, plain-language guide, not a human advisor. Ivy runs your projections, scores your plan, and points out the specific changes that may move your score.

Is my information secure?

Your data is encrypted in transit and never sold. We never link to your bank or brokerage accounts, so there are no logins to hand over - you enter your own numbers. You can edit or erase your planner data at any time, and you stay in control of your plan.

Who is Ivy for?

Ivy is for people roughly 40 to 70 who want clarity and confidence about retirement without complicated planning software - and for anyone over 30 who is starting to think about retirement and wants a simple way to see whether they're on track.

What does Plan with Ivy cost?

The quick score is free. The full plan is $20 a quarter or $60 a year (which works out to about $5 a month). See pricing for what's included.
